Update on Scott - May 10, 2006

Many of you have been asking for an update on Scott. He is doing great. His legs are healing well and he is back to his old self. He is working and has been since April. And he is back to mowing his own lawn. We agreed to let me spray the ROUNDUP...no reason to introduce any more chemicals to his skin...lets move to the next available family member for that. We are heading back to New Haven to see Dr. Foss at the end of June. We pushed our appointment out to June because she wants to be able to really evaluate the disease when we are there. It will take time for all the effects of the medications to leave his system. So he is between treatments and we are glad for the repreave. There is something nice about suspending treatment for a while and living as if nothing is wrong. As a family, we are trying to have fun and rest during May and June. I am working 10-15 hours a week at the Barnabas Center. It is a place where I can use my gifts and it contiually keeps spiritual matters in the front of my mind. Remember Will... "Oh yeah", you say, "you people have a newborn." Well he is 4 months old today and what a special bebe he is. Also, Sug's (Scott's maternal grandmother) health continues to decline. Pray for God's mercy.
