I'm back

I haven't provided an update in some time, primarily as I've been fairly busy juggling work, treatment, ASM and preparing for Baby #2. Here's a few snippets of info to get you up to speed:

Work: Just busy. I have several transactions that are closing by year-end or need my attention to keep moving forward. I'm juggling not only the volume of work but also multiple schedules, since what I do involves many people. With the holidays coming, lots of folks are absent with vacations.

ASM: Doing well. Healthy. She's performed in two brief Christmas pageant's - one for school and one for Church. She did awesome and now insists on listening to and singing Celine Dion's, "Feliz Navidad."

Baby #2: the baby is really active and healthy. You may recall that ASM was breach. This baby is not, so the pressures and positions are all new for Rachelle. She's generally uncomfortable and has to sleep in a recliner. I think she's never looked more beautiful. Our delivery plan is to attempt a "normal" delivery should the baby be so inclined, as long as he inclines before January 10. On that day, at 7:30am, Dr. Morris will perform a C-section to deliver the baby.

Treatment: Still going well. I've hit a routine of going/coming. The newness of it all has worn off and I'm ready for results. I'm officially half way through this treatment cycle. I'll have 12-13 more treatments bi-weekly thru March, then go back to Yale for re-evaluation. One nurse told me the other day that other patients noticed improvement around the 20th treatment or so. Everyone's body reacts differently, but the comment was hopeful as I haven't really seen much improvement yet. But, I've only had 11 treatments. Keep praying.

Amidst all the commotion, I did find time to go to the U2 concert on Dec 12. It was AWESOME! Here's some pictures:
